    On the now defunct ARN discussion board, Nelson had this to say in an
    exchange:

    [Nelson had claimed that flagella had been observed being intellignetly
    designed]

    Exciting! Where can I read about the observations of an intelligent agency
    creating flagella? This sounds most intriguing - I wonder why this has not
    made the international news?

    Nelson replies:
     You can read about it in any nanotechnology paper like this one:

                              Synthetic molecular motors
                              Anthony P. Davis;
                              Nature Volume 401 Number 6749 Page 120 - 121 (1999)

    So here we see an ID advocate pointing to human endeavors to provide
    'evidence' for the Intelligent Design of biological structures.

    Is it just me, or does this seem entirely irrelevant as to whether or not
    bacterial flagella are the product of 'Design'?

    [NOTE: This was in athread in which it had been pointed out that our own
    'Mike Gene' had claimed to have detected Design in both eukaryotic and
    prokaryotic flagella. When asked if he could point to where one could read
    about this, he balked - apparently the one doing the 'detecting' was him!]
