But you've invented an argument that was never made! And the comparison to
little kids was a nice touch. Thanks.

Where did I say that it is not wrong for creationists to distort? Is that
somewhere in my message? All I was pointing out was that the error cuts both
ways. I never said a word to justify what certain creationists do. I agree it
is wrong. I've said so in the past. Distortion is always wrong in the search
for truth.

But it is not only a creationist flaw. You have proved that for me by
distorting my argument and belittling (literally) me. Isn't that the very
conduct you decry?
