If you can get around this evidence with a substantive argument (not one that
says "someday we will find a use or explanation for these pseudogenes',DNA
similarities and body plan) then I might agree that I can view the origin of
Adam in a different light.
But I feel that one should explain the data of today not the data of tomorrow
since I don't know what the data of tomorrow will be. I also view the
"appeal to tomorrow" and a cop out to avoid problems. The data of today says
that we are related to the apes. If I don't take the approach I do, then the
only other alternative is to ignore everything the Bible says about the
origin of man and simply agree with the naturalistic evolutionist that man
evolved in a manner quite inconsistent with the Scriptural account. I prefer
not to do that.
I will be off line for a few days and will be unable to respond for a while.
This disappoints me greatly since I think that the above will get lots of
reaction.
