[asa] Teaching the controversy and getting fired

While ID proponents are quick to argue that proponents of ID are
somehow exposed to bias and being fired for their beliefs, little is
talked about what happens to others in very similar situations

The Des Moines Register <url

reports how a teacher was fired for stating that the Bible was not
literal.

Somehow I find it hard to take ID serious in its claims, whether it be
about science, religion or being persecuted. In all areas they seem to
lack in relevance although one can surely admire the amount of money
spent on PR, especially when compared to the money spent on actual
science.
