As to those who know you & your ways you are John.
As to those who know me & my ways I am Silk:
As to those who know the uncreated creator & its ways it is god.
[God,] not of mans fabrication but "that" which is responsible for all that exists. This god appears (to me) to be indifferent & I can only imagine that something so magnanimous as to have created all couldn't possible be so vain as to, require, demand or even desire my worship? As I see it we have basically two choices: To accept that there was a whatever" which made "all" that is or to accept that "all" that is just "swoosh" appeared out of thin air, out of nowhere, in which case some would still argue that it was "whatever" which made "all" in this "swoosh" fashion? Each one will decide their relationship with this "whatever". Some will revere it, some will worship it, some will take it as simply a matter of fact, some will hate it while others still yet will deny it. And none dare call it treason!
Six of one half a dozen of the other. For me it all comes down to [this] but then again I'm not a pseudo Intellectual drenched & dripping with meglomaniac gobbledygook, seething with meaningless academic jargon. Occasionally one encounters such lists where you have individuals spouting of such drivel replete with name dropping & double negatives. Such lists soley exist for the messaging of eachothers egos & most definitely are not a place to learn anything nor even honestly exchange views, so much for meglomaniacs.
A little information is a dangerous thing! Give an individual with a sense of inadequacy that demands to be filled a few courses & a few books say by Wittgenstein, Aquinas, Freud or Jung & the like & presto you've got a parrot spouting off incomprehensible jargon which they themselves can't make heads nor tails of but thats not the point & besides one of the rules of conversing (if it can so be called) with pseudo intellectuals is that it need not make sense, oh no not at all, but that it sounds academically complex!
Well I'm a bit different in that I do sincerely wish to be enlightened. So much for parrots with inferiority complexes whose cups floweth over with overcompensation! We can leave it up to them to resolve such intellectual pursuits as 'there was no past & there will be no future!' What a juvenile, vacuous, superficial thing to occupy the present with!
This entire fleeting thing, life, is of course ridiculous. Why should the creator go thru all these evolutionary steps to get what it wants, why not just come right out & make it the way it wants it to be & save a lot of time & trouble & get it over with? And once it has what it wants what is it going to do with it? Use it for something? Why, if the creator is so almighty, does it need something? Any "thing" so "magnanimous" certainly should want for nothing. What, I ask you, could be more "silly" than using all that power to create human beings & then allow some of them to have big metal cars & fur coats while many of the others starve & die on the vine like flies of numerous diseases? I don't give a damn what anyone may say or think, with my own reasoning capacity I find it all just plain superfluous & I can't put it more crystalline! It is to be sure, sad & a thing of pity that the product of millions of years in the contriving, namely a human being, considers its "ultimate" purpose, a thing most worthy of merit for the short amount of time it exists, to be that of "the laying up of coins", wealth accumulation, feeding its ego & forever seeking contentment in vanity & all this to the almost total exclusion & neglect of everything else.
Here on earth everything is dollars & cents! The physician must sell his healing for whatever the market will bear, the apostle his preaching & the prophet who has guessed the meaning of god & life must dicker for the price of his revelation while the poet sadly hocks his visions on printers row! What a circus. Out of sight out of mind. Poverty & the dignity of man vs becoming rich & famous! It's an obscene sort of logic that would try to answer a moral question with a material standard. The man with one dollar says that the man with one million of them must share. The man with the million says "will you share your dollar with the rest?" The one with the dollar says "but it's not even enough for me let alone share it!" "But of course" replies the one with the million, "my sentiments exactly!" To date man has split the atom, landed on the moon, transplanted hearts, cloned animals, unraveled {to some extent} the human genome, created artifical intelligence, the computer network, super information highway, but still yet feeding, healing & sheltering the starving children of the world seems to be too daunting a task for him.
