DNAunion: Part 5 of x.

Step right up! See the new Second Law of Thermodynamics!
Just like a creationist: when a little scientific fact gets in the way,
distort it and disprove the distortion, or create something unscientific out
of whole cloth.
Sorry, there is no new, sparkly "generalized second law of thermodynamics."
The second law of thermodynamics is the second law of thermodynamics. Entropy
equals the energy change of a system divided by its absolute temperature.
That's all, that's it, nothing more. It refers to irreversible changes within
a closed system. But the earth is not a closed system, and to say that
entropy can't decrease on earth is to say that snowflakes don't form, that
salts don't form crystalline shapes when solutions evaporate, and that
fertilized eggs don't grow into humans. Entropy decreases on Earth every
second of every day and has for billions of years because Earth is not a
closed system and energy from the Sun is acting on the environment to allow
"irreversible" changes to reverse. Entropy cannot decrease UNLESS there is
sufficient energy to allow such a change. There IS sufficient energy. It's
called the Sun. Applying SLOT to evolution is simply another way creationists
have misinterpreted and misused a scientific law,
created their own voodoo version of it, and deceptively used it to further
their own misguided cause. It's amazing and appalling.

DNAunion: Hmmm, what about this: "Entropy decreases on Earth every second
of every day and has for billions of years because Earth is not a closed
system and energy from the Sun is acting on the environment to allow
'irreversible' changes to reverse. Entropy cannot decrease UNLESS there is
sufficient energy to allow such a change. There IS sufficient energy. It's
called the Sun."
That's it? That's all that is required? No mention of or need for the
biological processes or machinery that channel that energy into producing
biologically-relevant work?
