Interesting. Perhaps this story is like the Eskimo one I swallowed! I had
though I read about Haeckel's problems in a book by Gould. But it was a
long time ago.
Assuming you are right, Kevin, I must withdraw my remarks about him. My
apologies to his biological and intellectual descendants!
