Pim,

If I may please have a moment of you time. You were kind
enough to respond to me in August concerning your personal
faith. I had asked you if you were a believer. My
confusion arose from your responses, especially to Stephen,
that seemed to be contradictive. It seemed to me that you
were a nonbeliever/evolutionist, while your statements
contained references to God as if you knew Him.

You responded to me, "Yep, I'm a believer. But sometimes I
like to play the devil's advocate". The quote is almost
verbatim. Since it is the Christian faith that is discussed
here, you led me to believe that you were a Christian
believer/evolutionist. For the last two months I was
encouraged to consider your points of view as Christian.

In a similar exchange with Stephen:

Stephen, "First, what do you mean by "God"? Do you mean
the personal, omniscient, omnipotent, Creator
"God" revealed in the Bible? Your "Yep I am
a believer" does not say what you are " a
believer" in.

Pim, "Irrelevant. My God"

Are you dodging the question or are you making a bold
statement of faith?

1 John 4:1-3 states:
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits
to see if they are of God; for many false prophets have gone
out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God:
every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in
the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit which does not
confess Jesus is not of God.

It would do my heart good if you would "confess that Jesus
Christ has come in the flesh".
