Person A
says that Persons B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J
believe premise-P
because of motive-X.

Persons B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J
respond in many different times and ways that they *really*
believe premise-Q (sublty but importantly different from premise-P)
because of evidence-Y and motive-Z.

Person A
continues to say, over and over,
that Persons B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J
believe premise-P
because of motive-X.

What to do ... what to do ... what to do....?

I'm going to recommend that Person A reads

http://www.sit.wisc.edu/~crusbult/origins.htm

The author believes almost exactly what Person A believes about biological
history, but disagrees with Person A about what Persons B-J believe
and why they believe it.
