An Apology to Richard Dawkins

On Tuesday December 26, 1995 I accused Richard Dawkins
of falsely attributing a quotation from John Polkinghorne
as follows:

BH:===
>Actually, it took me awhile to track down the context
>since Dawkins got the attribution wrong [he did at least
>get the year and page number correct :-)].
see: http://asa.calvin.edu/archive/evolution/199511-12/0686.html

I found the quote in <Faith of a Physicist> whereas Dawkins
attributed the quote to <Science and Christian Belief>.

Richard was kind enough to point out to me what should have
been obvious, namely that the title of the book was changed
by the US publishers. Perhaps it was my zeal to find
something against him that prevented me from seeing the
obvious.

In any event, Richard was gracious enough to accept my
apology for this blunder. Hopefully this group will also
accept my apology.
