>Look at the verse more closely: In the Heberew, the verse say Tubal-cain
>was the "instructor" of "all" (at the time of the WRITING of Genesis) who
>work in bronze and iron. The verse tells us that there is a direct line
>from Tubal-cain in iron to ALL who (at the time of the writing of Genesis)
>work in iron. (BTW, the same thing is said of Jubal, inventor of the harp).

Don't forget that Jubal also invented the flute (which you omitted here) and
Neandethal was found in possession of a flute at Dijve Babe I dated at
45,000 years ago or so and a flute was found at Haua Fteah, Libya, dated
around 90,000 years ago. So if there is a direct line from Tubal-Cain and
Jubal, this absolutely requires that Jubal be prior to 90,000 years ago.
Logic is logic Jim.
>Now tell me, how can he be the instructor if he had no students? How can he
>be the father if he had no sons? How can he be listed in the Bible as THE
>instructor, when he was lost to the ages in the Flood?
How about Divine inspiration? Or do you discount God's abilities?

>Under Glenn's scenario, Tubal-cain was not the instructor of anyone in the
>post-Flood world. This presents his theory with a slight problem: direct
>contradiction with the Bible.
Well Tubal-cain is not the instructor of anyone here on earth today unless
he is very old.
