size of the evolution-digest

Recently, many evolution-digest e-mails have been coming through with
fairly large message sizes -- 30K or so. This, in turn, causes the messages
to be filed as "offline files," rather than as e-mail messages, and,
consequently, hard (awkward) to read. Is there a way these digests could be
sent out with smaller sizes (and, of course, somewhat more often)?
