How much evolving occured?

1. While searching for web information on pseudogenes I
found out scientists have completely sequenced the
entire genome of a life form from each of three
branches of life. Archaebacteria, prokaryotes, and
eukaryotes. These genome's are downloadable.
Mycoplasma genitalium is a bacteria with just over
580,000 base pairs. As far as is known, it has
the smallest number of base pairs of any cell
that can independently reproduce itself.
Methanococcus jannaschii an archaebacteria has way
over a million and a half chromosome base pairs.
2. To me, the vast number of over half a million base
pairs in mycoplasma genitalium, the simpliest
autoreplicating cell known, would seem to preclude
spontaneous generation of cellular life.
3. However, 40% of m. jannaschii's predicted coding areas
show similarities with bacteria and or eukaryotes.
Perhaps this could be said to support evidence of some
evolving. Some of the url's are:

4. Dr. William Parker and Dr. Tony Arnold used computers
and optical equipment to study and record the almost
complete evolving record of over 300 species of one
celled planktonic type forams from 100 million years ago
to present. The study included the extinction of most
of the foram population 66 million years ago due to the
probable hit of the earth by a large asteroid. The
study even shows (for forams) how fast and under what
conditions speciation occurs most often. The Foram
Fossils: A Classic Tale of Transition can be found at:

5. I always wondered about the horse, the donkey, and
the mule. It sure seems to me, the horse and donkey
must of had a common ancestor.
6. http://earth.ics.uci.edu:8080/faq-speciation has
present day examples of life forms developing which
cannot produce fertile offspring with their
codescendants.
7. At his web site Glen Morton A) gives the example of a
specific pseudogene which has been misplaced to the
exact same chromosome location on gorillas, humans,
and two other animals. Glen also discusses B) two
chromosomes in gorilla's which appear in Humans -
with their ends spliced together!
I might also add that C) humans are one of only a few
species that cannot manufacture vitamin C. Like
gorilla's, etc, our gene for making, one of the
enzmye's (whose name I have misplaced) involved
in this process, is defective. You can find more
info on this vit c gene at http://www.alacer.com or

Let's ask the logical question, "Did Adam evolve?"
Glen Morton suggests that Adam
did evolve but that Eve was specially formed by God
from one of Adam's ribs. Then, he is repeatedly made
fun of for suggesting such a thing. Glen points out
that God himself told Adam, "You are (not were but are)
dust." Genesis 2:7 and 3:19. Then Glen a believer in
the accuracy and truthfulness of the Bible suggests
that not only was Adam dust but Adam's parents were
also dust. Again, Glen is laughed at and called names,
a very unChristian thing to do. However, is Glen's
idea possible? Is it possible Adam's parent's were
Mr. and Mrs. Dust?
8. Dust #6083 is in Genesis 2:7 and 3:19. Moreover:
Abraham said that he was dust. Genesis 18:27.
Jacob's descendants were called dust. Numbers 23:10.
We are dust. Psalms 103:14.
At death, our bodies which are dust
go back to the earth. Ecc 12:7.
although certainly not necessary, that Adam was formed
from (shall we say) Mr. and Mrs. dust. Adam was the
first human, much more advanced than his parents. When
he was grown God took him to the garden of Eden, etc,.
After Adam became lonely God put him in a deep sleep,
took a rib, and formed Eve. Does anyone know any
atheists who would believe that last sentence?
9. The idea that Adam's parent's were Mr. and Mrs. dust
seems to nicely explain the three genetic problem
questions for humans brought up in #7. Of course, as
previously stated, God, who can do anything, may have
just formed Adam from the kind of dust you find on a
dirt road, so Adam's genes would be identical, or
similiar to a gorilla's genes, in those three ways.
10. Besides Glen's so called fish story which was
pretty thought provoking, there are many transitional
fossils listed at:
http://earth.ics.uci.edu:8080/faqs/faq-transitional.html
11. Although Glen Morton and I have vastly different dates
in mind for the formation of Adam and Eve and Noah's flood,
I do think it is entirely possible baby Adam was born
(alive) and as he took his first breath God breathed
into him the breath of life. It is also possible Adam
was formed from dirt road type dust.
