Can someone recommend a good text relating to the history of
science, biology in particular? I'm going to be teaching a high
school biology course next school term, and I'm thinking that it
might be an interesting approach to try to "tell a story" during
the course of the year and to try to hang the content loosely on
that structure. I'm thinking that I could show the relationships
between the various sub-disciplines in biology and how they have
developed. Most of my students seem to be more interested in the
people and their stories. I'm thinking that if I can do the biology
course that way, it might help them to relate to the content better.
Thanks,
