I believe the answer is because most TEs are theological liberals. It
is for this very reason I prefer using the term Evolutionary
Creationist to describe my position. But believing in evolution does not
necessitate a prochoice position. I for one do my biology in an
evolutionary context, but am a firm ProLifer.
