This has been thrashed to death already, and I don't really want to
re-open it. I would regard "dishonest" as being covered by your first
definition, ie. "deliberately saying or writing something as false
that one knows to be true".
It is up to whoever asserts that Gish is "dishonest" to define what
he/she means by that term.. I am not a Creation-Scientist as you well
know, and have no vested interest in whether or not Gish is
"dishonest". However, the evidence I have seen to date is consistent
with Gish's YEC "paradigm blindness" and not dishonesty.
For the record, to be consistent I do not accuse Dawkins of being
"dishonest" either. I will charitably assume that he has a similar
"paradigm blindness" problem as members of the ICR.
