Agreed. Indeed, the actual Hebrew text actually says "the hills of
Urartu"
(sic?), which is simply the country to the north of Mesopotamia. Our
modern day Mt Ararat might be nothing to do with the Biblical account.
Clearly to get all the animals down from a 17,000 foot snow-capped
peak
would require the proliferation of more extra-Biblical miracles, which
are
necessary to keep the global Flood theory afloat.
