Moorad,

It looks like your question has been answered sufficiently. In fact probably more so than you bargained for.

The important point is not whether TE can be differentiated from non-TE, nor does it need to be, but that TE can be differentiated from YEC and PC because it reconciles science and faith without being falsified and without having to resort to all the what if speculations.
