Hi Coope,
Vegemite? Hate the stuff. I guess I'm just not Australian enough (hangs head in shame).
As respects government work, I suppose a figure like 3.12 would be okay as long as one has no overseas dependents excluding those serving in the military who resided in a non-dependent overseas territory for a period of not less than six months of the last fiscal quarter and whose earnings were less than $10,000 except in the case of a student whose course of study is expected to expire during the next fiscal quarter and whose income from share holdings did not exceed half of the expected yearly return from non-taxable revenue sources including, but not limited to, income generated from taxable part-time or casual labor disregarding offsets from any government payments which accrued over the previous twelve-month period excluding any period of leave for due to illness or other incapacitation excluding maternity leave and which blah, blah, blah .....
Blessings,
Murray
