I think?from a materialist point of view this question can't be meaningful, right?? It assumes that one of the consciousnesses has a special status and that the others do not.? Maybe your atheist friend wasn't brave enough to face up to this logical conclusion.? He wanted to think he was special in some way, even though his atheism provides no special dignity for anyone in humanity nor for any other chemical process in nature.?
