CSCA == Canadian Scientific and Christian Association

CIS == Christians in Science in the England, Scotland, Whales and
Northern Ireland, Eire??? Iain/Michael correct me here.

CSCA at least is mentioned in Perspectives each issue, don't have a copy
here to check on CIS.

+ I think the Anzacs have their own association down under. All are the
equivalent of ASA but in different countries.

CSCA is a tiny orginazation and heavily depends upon ASA, in fact I am
considering giving up my membership and joining ASA directly as CSCA
does not seem to have much benefit where I live. Canada is in effect a
long skinny country with 90+% of the ~30 million population living
within 1 or 2 hundred miles of the USofA border and most of the activity
in CSCA although in the same province where I live, is still 400 miles
away from where I live. Maybe going to this falls CSCA conference will
change my mind?? Ontario, alone extends from north of eastern New York
to above eastern Minnesota. Even within Canada, the Capital region
where I live, called the Outaouais (Ottawa and Gatineau) are remarkably
irreligious cities, especially Ottawa, with most people employed by the
feds, provincial representatives, foreign embassies or in high tech and
the supporting industries.

From my other note UEL == United Empire Loyalists to us north of the
border and traitors in the USofA The UELs were driven out or voted with
their feet around the time of the revolution.

Dave W (CSCA I think although my membership got screwed up as I was a
long term subscriber to Perspectives before I joined.)
