I have no idea what or why we have to get something
straight.
You apparently have taken umbrage to something in what
I said, and I have no idea what. If it was giving
more credit to Burgy than you think is due, I presumed
the Burgy was not championing a particular ideological
position with his illustration but was concerned about
such use of money generally. Burgy can certainly
speak for himself on that matter and chose to assume
that it was not ideologically motivated. I don't know
why my assumption of his good character was apparently
offensive to you.

And I have no idea what you want me or anyone else to
delve into... such issues of inappropriate influence
cut along all sectarian lines of any variety, I think
anyone with a modicum of objectivity can see that. As
someone who actually knows something about and has
studied campaign financing and interest group politics
as an academic, I think I have delved in that area
quite a bit, thanks.
