OK, replace "practioner" & "he or she" above with "practioners" and "they."
There is indeed some protection against self-delusion in community but it isn't
infallible: If it were, the Mormons wouldn't be so successful. The assembly lines of
the "factory of idols" to which Calvin referred aren't necessarily stopped when persons
are gathered together.
