I agree with others on the list who think that we've pretty well mined out the
relevance of science-theology issues for questions about homosexuality, at least for the
time being. The science-theology interaction is certainly relevant there but it seems
to me that what can be said pretty much has been said - often more than once.
This certainly doesn't mean that I think the subject is no longer worth
speaking about: I just finished a 5 page essay for preachers for this coming Sunday,
tied to lectionary texts & the issues raised at the Episcopal convention, for an
internet sermon resource. But it gives a distorted picture of what the asa list is
supposed to be to continue threads which often have nothing to do with science. I will
be replying privately to Burgy's most recent post.
