I tried to stay out of this discussion, so forgive me if I say something
    many people said:

Personally I think it is quite presumptuous to think that we can think God
( the Creator) 's thoughts after Him. Of course, the universe is designed
by God, but who are we to be able to discover God's thoughts, and say:
"Yes, the universe is intelligently designed." As a creature the devil is
also intelligently designed, but cannot be trusted. Yes, I do believe
that we can learn about God from the Bible and from nature, but that is
quite different from saying that God exists because Nature has been
intelligently designed. It may be just a matter of using language, but
learning about God from His created universe, and concluding that God
exists because the universe is intelligently designed, are two very
    different things.

    Or, do I misunderstand ID?
