    Of course, the Bible says that such things as peace (Psa. 29:11), children
    (Gen. 1:22,28; Psa 127:5), material possessions (Job 42:12), etc. are
    blessings, and those who have them should so regard them, but that does
    not mean that there is some spiritual failing in those who don't have
    them. How many of these things did Jesus have? (Matt. 8:20) We are to be
    content with the necessities of life. (I Tim. 6:8-10)
