A couple of people asked for a full reference, so I will go ahead and
send it to the list:
Aksu, A. E. and R. N. Hiscott. 2002. Erratum. GSA Today, v. 12, no.
12, p. 10. This erratum for Aksu et al. (2002. Persistent Holocene
outflow from the black Sea to the eastern Mediterranean contradicts
Noah's Flood hypothesis. GSA Today, v. 12, no. 5, p. 4-10.) notes
several other references agreeing with Aksu et al. that they had
overlooked. They cite Algan et al. 2001. Geo-Marine Letters, v. 20,
p. 209-218, Cagatay et al. 2000. Marine Geology v. 167, p. 191-206,
and Gorur et al. 2001. Marine Geology, v. 176, p. 65-73. I am not
attempting to reproduce the diacritical marks on the Turkish names.
