Keith and Shaun,
Thank you for this post, Keith. Stewardship is a comprehensive concept,
I completely agree. It was the first commandment God gave us and is the
best way we can bear witness to the lost world.
When I see "christian" responses like those dismissing environmental
concerns I just want to reach under that person's arm and pinch them
right on the tender underside where it REALLY hurts. If we really care
for our Creator, shouldn't we care for His creation? I think I've seen a
bumper sticker to that effect. oh, wait! It's on the back of MY car.
However this world came about (TE, PC, ID, YEC), I don't think it's here
for us to disregard or carelessly use. People aren't going to believe we
really care for our Creator is we just trash the planet He gave us. Keith
is correct, stewardship is a comprehensive concept.
