"What bothers me is when a person (PJ) tells me that apologetics
and theology don't have anything to do with the project under
discussion, and I have been told by another participant (MB) that
apologetics is the driving force for the project."
Sorry Jim, I'm still puzzled. Assume for a minute that both the above are
true. Why are they in conflict?
I "did physics" because I was curious about the physical world. But
curiosity about the physical world was not what I studied, and had
nothing at all to do with what I studied, and, indeed, if I'd just been
in it for the money < G >, that would not have had anything to do with
what I studied.
