Why or why not?

Hi me, Silk: I prefer an "Eclectic Philosophy" [little bit of this & a
little bit of that] Personally I've no argument with the fact that god did
it. My contention would be in the nature of this "god". I can't buy into the
god invented by man or the bible or koran version or any other version thus
set forth. I have come to the conclusion that what ever did it, even if
abiogenesis is the culprit, well, that something which is at the core of all
that is, ever was or will be, is, for me "god". Could be irreducible
complexity or not! Defying the 2nd Law of thermodynamics or not! I find the
use of my mental energy much more entertaining, self satisfying & reasonable
to ponder the "why" of it all. Who cares "who dunnit", surely it must be
obvious we shall never know, not this side of the grave, never that is
unless the uncreated creator (god to many) appears & tells us, then we still
won't know because god may be lying? I mean if man was created in the image
of god & man is a pathelogical liar why then should one expect any better of
god? Apart from the unproduced producer (god to many) showing up, science, I
do "not" believe, will ever uncover the answer as with each new forthcoming
answer come 10 more questions! Its like taking a piece of cloth & cutting it
in half & then cutting that in half & so on & so forth, you will never get
to the one indivisible piece! N'est-ce pas? This entire fleeting thing is
incredulous. Why should the creator go thru all these evolutionary steps to
get what it wants, why not just come right out & make it the way it wants
it to be & save a lot of time & trouble & get it over with? And once it has
what it wants what is it going to do with it? Use it for something? Why, if
the creator is so almighty, does it need something? Any "thing" so
"magnanimous" certainly should want for nothing. What, I ask you, could be
more "silly" than using all that power to create human beings & then allow
some of them to have big metal cars & fur coats while many of the others
starve & die on the vine like flies of numerous diseases?
I don't give a damn what anyone may say or think, with my own reasoning
capacity I find it all just plain superfluous & I can't put it more
crystalline! Of course I'm not discounting the fact that even if I was
given the "answer" I might not at all comprehend it or it might, to me,
appear preposterous or unfathomable but we've all heard "the hand of god
works in strange ways?" It is to be sure, sad & a thing of pity that the
product of millions of years in the contriving, namely a human being,
considers its "ultimate" purpose, a thing most worthy of merit for the
short amount of time it exists, to be that of "the laying up of coins",
wealth accumulation, feeding its ego & forever seeking contentment in
vanity & all this to the almost total exclusion & neglect of everything
else. When you ask yourself the question you're half way to the answer!
When you've not the slightest compulsion to utter the words, "I don't give a
damn", is when & only when you truly don't! chao/Silk
