I agree, I was suggesting that xenophobia has a biological basis
as well.

Well, compare another biological reflex, anger. It's always
there but education in the form of "anger managment" is often
highly successful in controlling it.
To clarify, I'm not saying education will erase biology, but it
does allow human beings to override it.
Treatment for homosexuality, however, has one big thing against
it: the "cure" doesn't work. (Conspiracy theoriests might
argue that cure does work but our godless liberal society
pretends it doesn't and/or homosexuals are just too decadent to want
to change, etc., etc.)
