>>Every observation in all of recorded history confirms biogenesis.
Nothing in all of recorded history says there is a need for the word,
abiogenesis. >>
Your first statement is true, AFAIK.
Your second sentence is an assertion of a negative. Negatives are
notoriously
difficult to substantiate.
You say "there is no need for the noun "abiogenesis." That seems strange.
many things do not exist yet we have names for them just so we can talk
about them. The word "ghost" comes to mind. The word "phlogiston" comes
to mind. "N-rays" are another example. Other examples include "Superman,"
"things that go bump in the night," and Psi effects (mind reading,
telekinesis, etc.
We need the word just so we can discuss whether it represents any part of
reality or not. Do you agree? If not, how can we discuss the subject at
all?
