Thanks Kevin,
I have to admit that my understanding of the Haeckel incident as well as his work is limited to what I have read on the net and therefor it is hard to make an informed decision. My postings were to show that not always fraud is involved when scientists make mistakes.
This however does not necessarily mean that Haeckel was innocent OR guilty. Just that one should be careful.
