I think you would agree that, in terms of semitones, a major scale
follows the pattern, {2, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1 }, i.e. an arrangement of
tones and semitones. That was my justification for including both in the
table.
Gary has already made the point that, in his view, the Gen.1:1
phenomena, the Lord's Name, and the basic structure of music are
two-a-penny coincidences. You, clearly, are of the same mind. That, of
course, is your privilege.
