Yes, perhaps. I am aware that this slant is a metaphysical one, rather than a
scientific one, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway. As a Christian, I
believe that 'In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth;' and
also that 'He [that is, Christ] is the radiance of God's glory and the exact
representation of his being, *sustaining all things by his powerful word*,'
'In Him all things hold together,' and 'in him we live and move and have our
being.'
perceive as natural processes. I don't think there is any way of
proving (in a scientific sense) whether this is so or not; but I
certainly don't have any problems with the idea of evolution as a
natural process in the light of my beliefs as expressed above.
