Thanks Brian. I was going to respond to Glenn, but I thought "Why
bother?" Glenn routinely stereotype creationists as believing only
in a simplistic version of creation and everything else is evolution!

There is no reason in a broad creationist model like Mediate Creation
why the information required to wire a human brain cannot reside in
the entire created system, e.g. the matrix of physical laws, the laws
of embryonic development, the laws of biology (even random mutation
and natural selection!), contingent events (asteroid impacts), etc.
Indeed, it is possible that the development of the human brain may
even be partly caused by interaction with its own non-material spirit,
or even (shock! horror!) *God's* Spirit.

This may be a problem for Neo-Darwinism, but it is no problem for
broad creationism.

This does not change my argument. I made no point out of Glenn's use
of "evolve" and if anything "avoid" strengthens my claim that he
routinely stereotypes creationists.

But I would agree with Glenn that he has "evolution on the brain"!
