If you are interested in how postmodernism deconstructs science (as I am)
you might want to read the article: THE CULTURAL CHALLENGE TO SCIENCTIFIC
KNOWLEDGE by Dinshaw K. Dadachanji in THE WORLD & I, Jan. 1998 issue. A
summary of the article is as follows:
"Scientists and science critics are engaged in a crucial battle over
whether science is a body of objective truth or subjective constructs
influenced by prevailing social beliefs and values."
I would be interested in hearing the opinion of others with regard to this
article. I hope to do further research this year on this subject. I am
especially interested in articles or examples of the scientific enterprise
being driven by political ideology or some agenda.
