While there certainly are a few "notables" whose scruples and/or
credentials are "questionable" (euphamism), you're painting with an awfully
wide brush.
If you'd said "most (insert your favorite ethnic group here) are
pseudo-degree carrying AMWAY ..." you would be severly chastised as a bigot
-- and rightfully so.
On the flip side of this discussion, many folks argue against creationism
because some of the tenets of YEC don't work. It is my limited experience
that AMWAY soaps generally do work pretty much as advertised. So, with the
worst of the creationists, you may have slandered a bunch of MLM'ers. (I
seem to recall that Ronald Reagan once commented that saying "Congress
spends money like drunken sailors" was unfair to the sailors who were, by
and large, spending their own money.)
