This of course does not prevent the rest of us from doing so.
I too believe that G-d caused the flood, but I do not know whether He
used natural or supernatural means. If the Flood Myth of the Bible
actually describes the filling of the Black Sea basin which occurred
around 7200 years ago, then I can imagine that both supernatural *and*
natural mechanisms were used. That the Flood was not global in scope
goes without saying--Baumgardner's hypothesis is too full of holes to
satisfactorily answer the global vs. local debate.
