Last NTSE report until next week -- will be on an Emmaus walk beginning

In a previous NTSE report I talked about AL Plantigna's Veritas lecture at
UT on the Thursday night before the NTSE began. This was where he developed
the rationale that:
if one believes in both naturalism & evolution
then one is irrational to believe in one's cognitive capabilities,
therefore one is irrational to believe in both naturalism and evolution.
Not a new argument; what l did was formalize it. Apparently it can be read
in chapter 12 of his book, WARRENT AND PROPER FUNCTION.
One of the papers I did not attend at the NTSE was by Fitelson and Sober,
of the Philosophy Department at the University of Wisconsin. Their title:
PLANTIGNA'S PROBABILITY ARGUMENTS AGAINST NATURALISM AND EVOLUTION.
Interested parties should probably read both sources above. The
Fitelson/Sober paper is onthe NTSE web site.

Again on AL Plantigna. In his address to the full NTSE assembly, he
addressed the topic "Methodological Naturalism?" and distributed a four
page paper, in which he addresses both a weak and a strong argument for MN
and develops the concepts of "Duhemian Science" and "Augustianian Science."
