enough central documentary material to give useful practice in choosing a
limited topic within a broader area, ... "
The book tries, within the limits of just over 200 pages, to present DATA
about the trial, not someone's swerve on what went on. All the principals
are covered -- the story of George Rappelyea, the trial transcript, etc.
The dialog between Darrow & Bryan is reproduced; also the court's decision.
For those looking for a relatively unbiased account of the event, this
seems to be pretty good. Jim -- as one who knows more about it than I do,
do you have an assessment of the book?
