magazine article or from the movie "Inherit the wind" it would be valuable
if you would post a good reference or two on it.>>
It's indeed a shame that the only source most people have about this case is
the movie made from the play. The playis really lopsided in favor of the
Mencken spin, though I do give it credit for making the "Honrbeck" character
(Mencken) something of an egotist.
The most accessible source is perhaps Irving Stone's biography, Clarence
Darrow For The Defense.
Good text with pictures, along with large portions of transcript, can be found
in Aymar and Sagarin, A Pictorial History of the World's Greatest Trials.
Then, of course, is the one source you can trust: The Darwin Conspiracy by
James Scott Bell (but take only with a heavy dose of satirical salt!)
