I seem to remember, a very long time ago, seeing a cover for the Creation
Science Research Quarterly (CSRQ) from the late 70's (I believe) which had a
photograph of the Martian surface taken by the Viking mission. The caption
inside said something like "Viking didn't find evidence of life on Mars just
like creationists have been saying all along. God only created life on the
earth." I believe the caption was written by Henry Morris (I'm relying on
a somewhat vague memory, can anyone verify this?).
What is the consensus (if there even is one) among YECs about life on other
planets? I'm assuming YEC wouldn't buy anything about this Martian meteorite
anyway since radiometric dating is involved in determining its age, etc.
