References needed...

Fri, 26 Jul 1996 09:07:08 -0500 (CDT) I was wondering if anyone could recommend some books or articles by
conservative, evangelical Christian theologians defending a NON-literal
reading of Genesis. I'd like to get together a few good references for
people who ask me how I can consider myself to be an evangelical Christian
without being a young-earth creationist. I obviously have my own thoughts
on this (my own theology, if you will), but I'd like to be able to refer
them to legitimate theologians who've written on this topic because I know
a few do exist (I just don't have the references). Thanks.
- Steve.
