Of course you are right when you say:

But this misses my point when I said:

I ask: It is the right thing to act on what one believes to be false?
The TE people are seeking to be honest to what they believe is truth.
That is all I said.

You also state:

Indeed do we not believe the Lord sends us "prophets...and teachers"
(Eph 4:11), who do continually call on God's people to "...come out
from them and be separate..." (2Cor 6:17. cf. Isa 52:11; Rev 18:4)?>>

Perhaps you believe this excuses a condescending attitude toward brothers
in Christ (TE's) who simply and honestly see things different than he
does. I don't.
