What I am going to report is not about evolution. But we have been talking
about lawyers lately, and some of the breeze has been coming from California.
Maybe we could compare the following item with what goes on in that great
state.
Recently a man was murdered in our county. Although this county is
over 90% Anglo, the alleged perpetrators were Hispanic. And so there
could be ethnic overtones in the trial. As a result, the county
prosecutor reported to the Board of Supervisors that he would need
$7,500 extra in order to prosecute.
