I always liked Gordon Lightfoot. But why are you making this assumption? I
think, as I've stated before, that your view of what makes Genesis 1 "true" is
limited. All of Scripture is true! But you've got to think a little bit like a
Hebrew to understand it. What you mean by "true, historical account" sounds
Greek to me.

Lloyd rightly points to the crux, which is: "The proper meaning or
understanding of that description." That's what the science of hermeneutics is
all about. That's what going to sacred Scripture is all about.

May we leave this subject then? Let's get back to pure fictional accounts,
like the whale sequence.
