I really just don't see it. Apparently my suggestion that you are viewing
Genesis 1 as a true, historical account set in poetry, like the song Edmund
Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot is wrong. Maybe I am slow-witted, so please
patiently show me by an example. How would a non-either/or person interpret
the three sentences :
My mother is alive.
My father is dead.
I said to my son, 'Let there be A's in school.'?
I will tell you nothing about the truth or falsity of either statement.
Ruling out a Schrodinger's cat type of response (since that was not
available til this century) how would a non either/or person understand such
a statement???
