I've been a bit quiet the last few days because I've been organizing and attending COSAC09 - an Australia/New Zealand science faith conference organized by my group ISCAST at which Simon Conway Morris gave the keynote address.

Absolutely brilliant stuff. I'll be chewing on it for a while but it caused a few key pieces of the science/faith puzzle to fall into place and I'm now convinced that there is a fundamental resonance between evolutionary theory and Christian faith -- so much so that I'm almost at the position of wondering how anybody could understand the process of evolution and NOT see the divine hand at work and NOT see the fundamental resonance I just mentioned.

How's THAT for a counter intuitive claim?

I'll let you know more later.
