Those of you who attended the ASA meeting at Baylor were treated to a very
special event. ASA council member Jennifer Wiseman works at NASA and is part
of the Hubble team. She brought David Leckrone to the ASA meeting. He is the
senior project director for Hubble. It wasn't on the program but after
Charlie Duke's presentation, Leckrone was kind enough to show us a special
slide presentation of the Hubble repair mission, sharing some of the
personal stories involved. It was fantastic. Too bad we can't post them.
Leckrone stayed for the entire meeting and enjoyed it very much.

Jennifer told me the rollout of the Hubble images would be yesterday but I
hadn't seen it yet. They are really amazing.
